The list is drawn up by the National Bank of Romania under art.62 (1) Government Ordinance no.28/2006 on the regulation of financial and tax measures.

Under the provisions of art. 62 (1) of the Government Ordinance no.28/2006 on the regulation of financial and tax measures (hereinafter referred to as the Ordinance), National Bank of Romania communicates the list of entities which, by lending activities undertaken, fall under the provisions of Title I, "Provisions on lending activity undertaken by non-bank financial institutions" of the Ordinance, based on statements made in art. 61 (1) of the Ordinance, transmitted / received so far.

Publication of the list aims to facilitate the reorganization of entities under the laws and embark on this list is not equivalent to entry in the records to be opened and maintained by the National Bank of Romania.

The list is organized into 6 sections, corresponding to the activities of credit provided for in Article 7 of the Ordinance.

Regulations under the procedure for publication in the Official Gazette of Romania:

• Rule on minimum capital of non-bank financial institutions;
• Rule on the General Register, Special Register and Bookkeeping Register;
• The rule on the procedure for notification and registration in the records of non-bank financial institutions.
